Maldon Town Youth Football Club

Welcome to the web site for Maldon Town Under 14’s Eastern Junior Alliance team. We hope you will find the site both useful and interesting.

The under 14 squad are a new squad that has been assembled from what was Woodham Athletic under 13’s from season 2007/08 together with boys who were selected over two days of trials in June 2008.

The team will be managed and coached by Lee Hill and John Ayris, with help from Dave Ellis, the administration will be conducted by Paul Fisher.

Dave and Paul were part of the successful management team who ran Woodham Athletic under 13’s in season 2007/08.

Lee and John have worked together running junior and senior teams for the last 10 years, firstly at Woodham Athletic and for the last 3 years at Maldon Town , where they have been responsible for the Under 16’s, Under 18’s and the senior clubs Reserve Capital League side.

The goal of the management team will be to build a competitive team to play in the Eastern Junior Alliance league by encouraging a passing mentality with the boys.

As importantly we will also be concentrating on the development of the players, in preparation for what will hopefully be a stepping stone for some of the players into Senior football at Maldon Town F.C.
